Ibra and Mkhitaryan are fine. They're good players who will improve United. I know a lot of us slag their signings and although Zlatan will be expensive and a short-term stopgap for them, he'll probably score about 20 in all comps and Mkhitaryan will be an improvement over an out-of-position Mata. But I just really cannot see Pogba going back there. Honestly, I think part of the reason we won't sign him is because he feels a chapter has closed on life in Manchester. Either he stays at Juventus, goes to Madrid, or goes to Barca if and when they can afford it. The only way I could see United happening is if it is in a years time and they're back in the CL. A player like him who has stated over and over he wants to be the best will not take a step down to play in the Europa League at a club that treated him so poorly. I know they'd offer stupid money, but let's not act like he and his agent wouldn't get a similar deal at the likes of Real, City, PSG, etc

Nah ... I think that ship is quietly sailing off into the distance for Raiola. The figures they've asked for Madrid aren't gonna go to. Juventus aren't gonna compromise, Mino won't - it's becoming impossible to see how Poggy moves without a huge climb down from one of the parties involved. Either Juve accept that he's not worth a world record fee, or Mino accepts that the package he's asking for is too rich, or Pogba accepts that the only way that everyone will be satisfied financially is by making him move to United where he won't be satisfied in a sporting sense.

For me it's 50/50 whether he forces Mino/Juve to do a deal with Madrid at a level they find acceptable or stays at Juventus. The United situation on the face of it is one that Pogba isn't going to go back to.

Is this true though? People keep saying this. Bit if you join a Europa team with a bunch of other great players kill the competition One year win the league and then get ready for a CL onslaught in year 2. That's not half bad. If you put Rashford and Martial on the outside Pogba and Mikyt in the middle a defensive player behind them, perhaps even Rooney, and Zlatan up top.... That team should crush Europa and challenge for the league easily.

It is not that hard of a sell. It's been 3 years -slights heal. And the guy he didnt like isnt the xoach anymore. It's not so far fetched.

Have to say i'd be really surprised if he went to the Rags. I'd also be pretty disappointed in the lad himself... abandoning his principles and rejoining a club who fucked him over. Joining a team that's not in the CL. I know money talks, but there must be some serious cash down for this transfer to go through.

doubt it's pretty much done at this stage. Still seems unlikely at this point. Will see. I think it depends how badly Juve want him and If Zidane wants him bad enough.

I don't see why you'd be disappointed. He was treated like a kid when he was a kid. He left to prove he wasn't. Now he returns as king and owns the place. Not to mention being overpaid and can stick a wad off cash down red noses pants if he wants.

Añd as for Champions League, that's temporary. If he is as good as he believes ( and I think he is) him, Zlatan, Mhkt, Martial, Rooney, and Rashford should definitely be a strong enough attack to get them into Champs league easy in a year. In the meantime they can focus on trying to winning the league, and if they are still in Europa come Qfinals, take it seriously enough and go smash Sevilla who probably will be in the finals again. Those fuckers have turned that tourney into their personal property. :)

article came out today saying Pogba agent pushing him to go to United but Pogba wants Madrid and would stay at Juve if that deal doesn't happen. Sounds like he wants only Madrid if he were to go anywhere.
