After watching the Euro's this lad is not a patch on Yaya in his prime and I've not been that impressed.

He's a good player but not top drawer and certainly not £100m, anyone who thinks he is has been caught up with the fan boy hype and needs to have a word with themselves as I have now done with myself.

Being reported he's been offered £11m a year by the Rags. That's approx £211k a week. Cheeky cunts want to pay him less than Rooney! No wonder the deal hasn't been done yet.

He hasn't been pulling up any trees in the Euros. Seems abit selfish with a me me me attitude. Add that to his massive ego and you could easily see him being the next Ballotelli. But for triple the price. Give him a wide berth.
 
Listen folks we know pogba isn't going to the rags, the rags know he isn't going there and pogba knows he isn't going there. Don't you find it a bit strange that this story broke the same weekend that Pep was being introduced by us?? And by God didn't sky sports let us all know. How long was that yellow tickertape running at the bottom of the screen? 3 days? It was all about getting their noses in first and making them headline news. Classic utd pr manoeuvre that we've been accustomed to over the years. But let's all join in with the frenzy and excitement of the rags paying 100m for Pogba. Brilliant.
 
Perhaps City pulled out because of the problems dealing with a player represented by Raiola who seems central to all of Man Utd's deals. All their buys and their manager are his players. Would make a difficult transfer even more difficult

You do realise that their new manager took chelsea from champions to bottom 4 in the space of 6 months? That he got sacked from his last job? They could sign every top player out there but if the manager ain't all that it's a waste of time. Peggy is well past his best. Fact.

You're comparing a still developing 23 year old with a late bloomer at the peak of his ability. What had Yaya achieved by Pogba's age? Nothing of note.

This 'young Yaya' stuff has to stop. They're two completely different players who just happen to play in central positions.
 
I think he's a class player. In the £60m bracket IMO. However if he want's Pep, this might be his only chance. Could New York be Pep's destination post Manchester??
 
This UTD transfer is bollocks, the rouse was exposed as soon as the "pogba prefers madrid" headline started making the rounds...
 
Really hope he doesn't go back to that lot, whilst it will be funny to see them pay £100m+++ for him after letting him go for next to nowt......it will hugely strengthen their midfield.

Come on Madrid, get your fingers out, sign him, let us have Kroos, then I can't see any way they will finish above us next season.

I still don't think they will even with Pogba, but it would be a damn sight closer if they have him in their side.
 
And this has broken on the eve of a major final. Are you telling me that Pogba is instructing his agent to negotiate a deal whilst his sole focus is on the Euros?
 
Now I'm like the rest on here hoping that Pogba doesn't go to them. The thought of the rags improving their midfield is a major concern.
However I wonder if Txiki and Pep are more concerned he may end up at Madrid?
Our ultimate goal is to be the best in Europe and to land the major prize.
Pep may have more faith in our current squad than we have.
Maybe they think domestically we can handle utd with Pogba, but Madrid with Bale, Ronaldo and Pogba would/could be mission impossible.
We're presuming that we'll get Kroos if they get Pogba. What happens if they pull the plug?
Their midfield could be Modric, Pogba and Kroos, with Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema up top.

I want to win the Prem and be the best in England, however I think our owner and the manager have their sights on being best side on the planet.
