in a way i hope he signs for utd, for one i dont rate him at 110 million plus arnt the scum buying a player who was once theres anyway. seems like a waste of a lot of dosh.

City would be getting slagged to fuck if we was willing to pay the fees being spoken about for this very average player, only ginger scholes has come out and said he ain't worth the amount 40/50 m tops
Come on, he's a lot better than 'very average'.

Exactly,he's a fantastic player, that the vast majority of us would have been ecstatic to see in our shirt.
Comments like that are small time and simply encourage accusations of bitterness.

Personally i don't rate him as highly as his pricetag suggests i should. Is he twice the player De Bruyne is? Absolutely not, he's not even better at all.
But for similar money i'd much rather have him instead of Sterling and Stones.

If United* pay €112m as has been reported they will have to pay then it is an awful lot of money for someone who is only playing to about 85% of his perceived potential.

Nonetheless, he is one of the fittest midfielders in the game and has what appears to be Colin Bell like energy throughout an entire match.

---------

* Real Madrid are now back in for him but as we know, they need to find a new home for James R - who says he won't leave unless someone steps in with the right offer.

Not twice the player De Bruyne is obviously but he's 3 times the player Sterling is. Going on about the fee is pointless as their turnover is huge. Every transfer fee is ridiculous as we all know. If they get him he'll significantly strengthen them and that's all that really matters. We've got a better manager though and once we make our signings we'll be more than capable of taking them apart like we used to until Pellers worked his magic.

So, they've gone from closing and sealing the deal with Pogba "coming home" despite being French.
Then they were in advanced talks with juventus after agreeing contract details with Pogba himself,
Now they're holding talks to finalise personal
Contract details with Pogba and his agent?

Fucking hell, at the rate they're going backwards they'll be relevant again!

He is overrated, playing in Italy he has all the time in the world. Will find it a lot tougher here, as we saw in Euros he will go missing for long periods

If he wasn't that good, the Pogba transfer thread wouldn't have reached past above the 3 thousands pages ...
He is good, and has potential to become a world beater. That is the kind of silly money you have to pay to attract these high profile players nowadays.

Yep. If we'd signed him for the price we would have been slaughtered, but I think the Rags will also get slaughtered it they pay it. I would also suggest that if we'd signed him then we would have a lot of posts saying he is world class, he would only sign because of Guardiola, it would be us making a statement on the world stage by signing the most sought after midfielder in the world.

Whoever signs him will improve their team, silly money, but he's worth what the buying club decide to spend. I wouldn't bat an eyelid if we paid the fee and he was starting for us next season.

I thought he'd already signed. I typed 'Manchester United' into Google, and this showed up on the right hand side of the results page:
