No, he didn't. He turned us down in 2012, as he didn't feel ready for the Premier League at the time, and he didn't want to risk sitting on the bench most of the time.

But I can't remember him talking crap about us?

He said this in April 2013, before signing for Tottenham in the summer:

‘If I could play for a club like Manchester City – why not?,’ he told Danish paper Algemeen Dagblad.

‘For me it feels important that I have a good feeling of the club. There I should be able to play football and then I could develop.'

Just watching the Palermo v Napoli game and I must say this lad looks the real deal.

Fantastic dribbler, tracks backs and can put a pass and a cross in, for me he would be perfect as a link up with Aguero.

His skill for Palermo's third was world class and very imaginative.

Dybala and Vietto are more risky buys than Bony but with the skill they have been demonstrating at such a young age they also have a very good chance of becoming world class players in a few years, plus they will most likely be cheaper than Bony.

I admittedly hadn't watched him a lot until he was mentioned on here. I would see him starting off as a secondary or backup striker (to Aguero or Bony) who can also play on the wing. Much like Jovetic as someone commented before. His dribbling style is actually a lot like Aguero's but not as refined.

He's young and talented and would work well at our club and our style in the long term. Since has so much time he could well turn out to be the next Aguero and that's saying a lot. He's worth taking a punt at this stage especially as he wants to be at City and his current club is willing to sell him. We could end up having to challenge Barca if we don't get him next window.

This makes sense but I don't see why City needed to buy Bony in January and not wait until summer. By buying Bony in January City have pushed Jovetic out of a UCL spot, all but guaranteeing he leaves this summer, and pushed Dzeko farther down in the rotation. If City do want to sell Dzeko in the summer it would surely make more sense to give Dzeko playing time to help boost his stats and get a better price for him.

I actually watched Dybala in quit a few games and each year he looks better and better. He is not as skilled as Aguero but he is more powerful. He looks like a rough diamond but hey, which good player doesn t look like in Seria A? If Jovetic leaves(hope he stays) than he will be good for 20mil pounds, not 40 as I read. If I had to choose between him and Lacazette, I would surely go for Dybala as we have argentinians here and can easily accommodate him.

The problem with the team is NOT work rate but goal scorers. Our goals have dried up. Dybala is a GREAT player but we don't need another hard worker, we already have Milner, Aguero , Navas and Nasri (going by his performance this season), What we need is someone who can convert more than 60% of the chances served to him and that is what Lacazette would bring to the team. We need someone who can create chances out of little or nothing. We missed out on Sanchez, we can't afford to make the same mistake with Lacazette.
