That´s not Pellegrini´s style, he invert the position of the "wingers" sometimes in order to let them associative plays, He used Joaquin as attacking midfielder with Isco or as 2nd forward, not as winger properly. Navas can send good passes to the area, because he has the ability, but that is just a resource, not part of Pellegrini´s system. And all of you should wait and hope that Navas don´t get his homesickness back, he overcome once, but he never deal with something like live in another country for so long.

Don't worry mate. We've got Ryan Air as back up to our main sponsors!

Seville round trip for 49 quid on a Sunday night!

done ...

So, is this not the day after all? Many were convinced it would be.

I'll be interested to see what Pellegrini's wages are here. Mancini got a huge wage bump after winning the league, I reckon Pellegrini's could be much lower.

Don't see why we would delay any announcement due to Mourinho - manager signs on dotted, put it on OS, job's a good 'un.

Sure we wouldn't have the press conferences on same day but that's a different matter.

Agreed.

Reminder that the club posted news of Clichy's contract renewal at around 10pm on a Saturday. Confirmation of Mancini's exit came late on a Monday night too.

Let Chelsea take the spotlight for a while. The press's circle jerk over Mourinho will take some of the pressure off Pellegrini imo. His last result for Chelsea was an unispiring draw against Rosenborg in the Champions League.

Chelsea aren't going to come out and be unstoppable from the gate like some believe. The current team doesn't fit Mourinho's style of play, I know Roman spends what he wants but don't think they'd sanction the sale of Hazard or Oscar this early.
