You never let me down Dave and little red Peter is still brownnosing Fergie even in the jungles of Borneo. I wonder how much we've got in our Tea Chest now after missing out on Percy?
...You appear to be the forum equivalent of those Japanese blokes still fighting the war on pacific islands in the 1970s. Have you listened to nothing that's been said over the last month? By the players? By the backroom staff? By the CEO? By The Chairman?.....All part of the great press agenda in your little world I assume.
There's quite a few of us Knights of the Bushido in here Dave, trying to make sure Mancini's fantastic achievements aren't smothered in grotesque exaggerations of his undeniable shortcomings. Anyway, I for one won't be following the Cabal tradition of slagging off the next manager as a reprisal against those who slagged off the one before. To be fair that particular entertainment was not your basis for a three year 'Mancini out campaign', rather the equally unfair one that he wasn't somebody else. Ah well, we'll see how the upcoming battle between the Special One v the Sparkling One turns out. I already know which side the Rag media will be backing though.

It must be awful, to force themselves to lie on an internet poll. Just months ago they laughed at the possibility of Moyes at rags.

do you happen to drive a white van and have a large gap between your front teeth?

George Hannah has made some excellent points - as you would expect from someone who has supported the club long enough to remember a great inside forward - and I think many of those who wanted to see the end of Roberto need reminding of a few more. The owner and board didn't get rid of Roberto to bring in Pep, or Mourinho, and many of the "outers" never considered Pellegrini until he was clearly the man the club wanted. Now, let's remember that our loyalty is to City rather than any individual and let's refrain from factious intrigue against the new manager. Some of those posting on here are not helping already. There is a tendency to suggest that the "Mancini years" are some dark tunnel from which we are now emerging to take our place in the sun. Well, we actually won our first trophy for 35 years, our first FA cup for 42 years and our first league title for 43 years in that time. And to hear some posters we did it with a centre forward whose first touch is abysmal, no width at all, a midfield lacking in creativity and so on. A wonder Mancini saved us from relegation! Especially after the mess made of the last August transfer window. The Mancini years are over, but they were years of substantial achievement, and we have world class players at the club. I hope the club and manager get the players they want this summer, whoever they are, and that they help us compete and play the football the manager wants but it is unlikely they will be better, individually, than the likes of Silva, Aguero, Vinnie, Zaba etc etc if they are as good. So claims that with Pellegrini we'll have the PL won by February are the obvious nonsense I hope they were meant to be.

Pellegrini seems to have many excellent qualities, he may even prove better for the club than Mancini but he will not be well served by the mindless, unrealistic expectations that give way, when we don't win the first ten PL matches outright, to disillusionment by November and calls for Mourinho or "Pep" or "anyone" by February.

No I have good teeth. Drive a 320.

Aren't you a bit old to be constantly pissing on about some mythical 'rag media' like a little boy?

Grow up mate. Mancini got sacked. And it had nothing to do with the media.

I think Mancini will have his legacy put into perspective very quickly. Guys great domestically but Europe is the barometer and his records pathetic to be blunt.
