Extremely, extremely positive. Said his titles he won in South America were very good as it is a competitive league. Also said that his record at Real Madrid was very good - comments about his points total and the fact that he didn't have Ronaldo for 2 months (I think I got that bit right). Record at Malaga was excellent given the fact that he went in and had to deal with top players who hadn't been paid. They put a lot of strength on his record in the Champions League. The only negative he mentioned was his age and the fact that over the last 20 years managers of his age who moved to a different country didn't last more than 2 years, and the majority left after a year - don't know how much that will play with City.

Also said some good stuff about Navas. All very positive.

Is there a reason we have to announce him "within two weeks"? Mourinho took 5 minutes to sign and was revealed immediately after la liga finished pretty much. And Moyes signed before the league ended! Yet we have to wait and wait.


Sorry I'm just so bored.

Likely because Pellegrini has some dignity and respect for Malaga, while Mourinho did all of his work and negotiations for Chelsea whilst still being employed elsewhere.

Plus, and I mean as politely as possible, who cares? We know it's going to be Pellegrini, let them negotiate contract and bonuses, not like he's getting to work with the first team now or in two weeks anyway.

He'll have an interview on the OS though won't he that's what I'm looking forward to the most

but Mohamed Naguib the manager of Abu Dhabi sports t.v network just twitted some details about the negotiations which take place between Pelle & the club

1# Pelle insists to keep Dzeko & Nasry and asked for
two wingers , central defender , central midfielder and a goal scorer

2# the players who would leave : Tevez if he didn't renew , kolo , Lesscot & some other players not revealed yet

3# pelle didn't like to bring Falcao

4# Their was a huge bid from Mourinho for Dzeko

I honestly think it's signed and sealed as I think everything has been agreed for ages, but I just have a feeling Txiki and Ferran are to trying to sort out Isco whilst they are in Malaga and then announce the pair together.
