Felt like he just downed tools today, but he wasn't the only one.

Subs were poorly thought out and too late.
Wasn't active on the touchline.

I almost feel as though he wasn't arsed about the match.

We have played Sané of the left and Sterling on the right in a cup semi against Arsenal before, it didn't change things.
You are of course right.but David Silva got kicked to bits by arsenal that game..our star player,if you like at the time, and Wenger targeted our man in a shameful, ruthless show of butchery, which ,if reffed correctly would have left arsenal down to 10 men...and game over.
This time round...things were different.

It’s getting a bit worrying that he continues to play a midfield 3 with no legs. Bernardo or Foden have to start or we will continue to get overrun in midfield when we lose the ball high up the pitch. It has to be Silva or KDB, not both.

It’s what makes Silva even more incredible. It’s been known around the league since his first or second season that he has bad ankles and every single game some snide **** will hack at them.

Pep got it wrong with David and Garcia.

Silva playing 95 minutes on Wednesday should have never started 2 games in one week at 34 years old.

it’s a semi final, I don’t understand why Garcia started. This should have been a preparation for Madrid, and I really hope Pep is not considering starting Garcia there. We’d have no chance against them with Benzema in the form of his life.

Fernandinho is the best partner for Laporte right now. At least he brings some leadership and experience. Fernandinho should have been rested midweek and started yesterday.

also the hunger was really missing from the players. De Bruyne especially was off it. Shocking game. I hope this is a wake up call.

No he’s done it in the derbies as well. He looks done in to me. Run out of fresh ideas and maybe should take a break rather than be given millions to waste on journeymen like cancelo ,& rodri.
How can he take a break, hes either given money to spend on new transfers or hes not.

But i agree with you a little in that he may of run out of ideas somewhat.

The biggest worry for me is how he seemed so disconnected from the game. He just looked resigned to defeat, like there was nothing he could do. No ideas, other than to ask for more tempo? That’s what it seemed like. Contrast to Arteta, who was so clear and decisive. He looked engaged, switched on, like he had a precise plan and was able to get what he wanted from his players. No positives whatsoever from yesterday.

He is waiting to see if we win the CL, we win hes off, hes done what he was brought in for, he doesnt he signs for two more years max. The trouble is our recruitment as a top player I want to know who is going to be in charge as many come to work for Pep not City.

Garcia is a decent prospect but that is all at the moment. He is not ready for a game against Madrid, Dhino is the best option currently.

Selecting Merlin after playing a full game against Bournemouth was a mistake. Foden should have played imo.

I don't disagree with this. Before the break, yes Laporte and Sane injuries were big issues.
But after, there really isn't an excuse.

Hope for a big response VS Madrid

Yeah we still lost but we’re very unlucky in that game where as last night we were just shite. We were also fantastic to watch with those 2 flying rather than this constantly cutting inside and playing sideways so often these days. It’s constantly failing against the better sides

Every press conference he gets asked are you going to extend? Surely the question should be does he deserve a contract extension?

we have the best squad in England if not the world and with that we should also have huge expectations. I see posters saying “we have won a cup that is a great season” when in fact a return of a league cup with this squad is frankly not good enough. This is not me being entitled it is a reality of where we are as a football club, we are now one of the best club sides in the world and our expectations as a fan base need to reflect this.

we have lost 9 games in the league, lost to a poor United numerous times and now a very poor arsenal side schooled us at Wembley. I look at the centurion squad and it was full of leaders (Kompany, delph, Yaya) as well as pace and power. All of this has been removed and instead we have been left with a very one paced side with no vocal leaders.

Pep is not doing us a favour managing us, if anything we are indulging his footballing fantasies and it is time for us to know where we stand. You either sign an extension with the caveat that we do better next season or your out or it’s time to say goodbye and instead we focus on us as a club and try to rebuild the side in that mangers image.

The more I think about it, the more embarassing the performance was for him. He's gone on about the FA cup and CL every single press conference since the return, he even said we didn't focus on Chelsea because of the Newcastle FA Cup tie, he's been gunning for the 2 cup competitions for months, and he can't even get his team to turn up for the semi-final.

What's going on there? That's not like Pep.

The Bluemoon vultures are circling...
headless chickens more like, they wouldnt know a good manager if he shit on their heads.

its always the same on bluemoon, win and they go overboard, lose and its the same , you win some ,you lose some,im not happy about it, but thats football
