I'm hoping that he was taking the piss out of the idiots that keep saying all that nonsense on here.I really don’t think he was. If so, I still ask why write all that trash on his own fan’s forum??
I wondered that. I might have been clarkied.
I agree, just after Christmas the team was slowly evolving and then within 1 or 2 games the personnel and balance just clicked into as solid an all round City as I've seen in a long time, clean sheets, more passing, less energy sapping running, different scorers,Pep advocating "make the ball do the work" it was great. Cancelo, Rodri, an advanced Gundogan and a full battery Bernie looked like a combination that allowed solid cover for the defence and good support for whatever combination of 3 attackers played. Some didn't like the methodical passing but we looked unbeatable, at least in the PL, and even when individuals were just rating 6.5 or 7 the collective was a comfortable 7.50 +. I don't think your Kevin view is at all controversial, he is/was rusty and the the balance and shape changed back to a riskier individual style performance. Southampton were brave but we had enough better individuals to make the difference. I think Pep has to make a choice between going back to the personnel and system of the Jan/Feb solid winning side and fit in a fit Kevin playing as a free roaming attacker or false 9 or adapt the system and the balance we had just before K returned, to accommodate Kevin in a midfield role. If Bayern, PSG, Dortmund or even Monchengladbach, at their best, hit us like Southampton did last night they won't have Che Adams etc. and it will be a lottery because last night and against Utd we didn't have a "midfield", we had a few individuals occupying the middle of the field. The Fulham and Monchengladbach selections will be interesting and hopefully winning ones.He stated in that interview he wouldn't of said anything about the ref if the score had finished 1-1 because it would just look like an excuse. I can see where he's coming from on that. He said a bit more than usual and a bit of it was aimed at certain people on the bench, maybe. Controversially I think while KDB was injured we were actually a more balanced team.
But, But, But ,Sky viewers might hear some "industrial language" and Tyler will get upset, even if most of it would be in a language they didn't understand. Although on second thoughts Fuck off is a universal language. The PL will hold manners classes for players. 1st lesson " Excuse me Ref, I don't wish to disagree with your wise educated opinion but I feel you may have misjudged that leg breaking tackle on me as accidental, should I scream a little louder to assist your decision making process." Another money maker for sure. The solution to the whole VAR corruption facade is blindingly simple and obvious. Simply mic up the refs and VAR officials and have their conversations broadcast live. No time delay, no editing allowed. Live as it happens. Simple.
This would immediately stop any chance of decisions like last night being made.
It would level up the playing field and make the game a lot more fair and true.
It would also mean City would gain a plus 10 points advantage over their nearest rivals every season. We would have won the title last year and would be about to win 4 in a row as well as probably at least one champions League, possibly two.
That's why they won't do it.
Football is racist, corrupt, and bent.
I never mentioned Garcia... He'd be about number 8 on my list of CBs currently at City!
As you suggest, it's all about opinions. It's not a 'hatchet job'... Just my view. I don't think Laporte has ever looked anywhere near a world class defender at City, and certainly not the confident leader we needed post-Kompany.
There may be a number of reasons why he's never really figured in the French squad, but it's entirely possible that Didier Deschamps shares my view.
Wow, you sure you're not masquerading as a journalist ? coming up with that list of garbage. Or could it be that you're unhappy we're chasing the quadruple and that deep down you're yearning for the days when we were shit ?He's probably thinking that the Chumps is beyond his team in the knockout phases with the squad he has available to him.
- A GK that is useless at saving pens.
- A RB that has brain-dead moments creeping into his game.
- A RB that is more effective floating in MF.
- A CB that is now third choice and errors creeping into his game.
- One functioning LB without a reliable backup.
- A DM on his last legs.
- A RW who can blow hot or cold.
- A world class MF slowly being nursed into action.
- A world class striker slowly being nursed into action.
- An offside striker that is more effective on the left.
- A rookie as an emergency striker.
- A front man who's touch, goals and form has deserted him.
Other than that, its looking good for the PL title.

Got to be, 14 points clear doesn't lieIs this a wind up ?
I think we look better and more fluid when KDB plays the false nine position it also frees up Gundo as he isn’t talking up the same space as Kev when he plays in midfield.Absolutely, IMO, but more so the other three. There was too much space between players last night so we didn't win the ball back as quickly and we were constantly having to play more incisive passes. The movement and pressing of Gabby from the front, allied to the interceptions and ball control of Rodri and the composure of Stones and his ability to bring it into midfield.
