That's the thing he rotated way too many, it wasn't one or two it was seven or eight, and the most infuriating thing is that he did it against Leeds just a week ago and it didn't work and he does it again in a semi final against Chelsea. as for Raheem he played last week against Leeds and he was crap, benching him for two big games in a row is not freezing him out. It’s difficult though with our fixture schedule. He has to rotate. He took a risk and arguably rotated a couple too many but I can see why he did it.
He also can’t freeze Raz out completely. He has to give him a chance to prove himself, especially after the comments he’s made recently. Raz should’ve done better.
Hopefully it won’t affect our momentum and we’ll bounce back with a win against Villa ahead of rhe
Surely he’s the total opposite of stubborn?Stubborn.
This. It’s not the fact he’s rotating - which is perfectly understandable - but the nature and extent. The team Pep picked today was not good enough to beat a resurgent Chelski team , too many changes , i can understand four or five but eight changes means their is next to zero continuity , Pep fucked up , we move on.
If we end up with fuck all I'll ask the question again. There's no point in reaching a semi final and neither turning up or trying to change how the game is going. This might be the most ironic comment ever written on bluemoon.
You, someone who wanted Pep fired in January 2017, and fired again in November 2020, complaining that someone doesn't learn and won't admit they made a mistake.
Thanks for bringing a smile to my face.
