I was proud of him at his press conference. Imagine Klopp in the same circumstances.
The points he made were correct and intelligent 1) Rashford did interfere with play 2) Phil was immediately flagged for offside by cms two or three times in the first half and play stopped. Why did that not happen to Rashford when he was two metres offside for their first? Will we get answers to those questions - not a chance.
I sensed rather than it being overt that he was disappointed particularly at the speed we lost the second goal (not the first time that has happened in big games sadly).
As always, classy, honest and professional. Oh but the officials had a fraction of that.

We are 2nd in the league and in the FA Cup and CL still.

I am not going to write this side, Pep or this season off in January.
I wasnt moaning , its just a fact (IMO) Our play has slowed to the point i am often bored at the mo.
I appreciate that opposing teams parking the bus doesnt help but we often dont take advantage of opportunities to get forward on the counter, opting to pass back just to keep possession.
Weve lost pacey players over the last few seasons other players are slowing down.

Whenever someone has a moan about pep they are deemed ungrateful, which is silly.
As a match going fan i am entitled to my opinion. And my opinion is that peps in a bit of a rut

Agree with this and pep’s frustration imo is rubbing off on the players. I worry about this season being his last as the players seem all of a sudden to not responding to how he wants to play? I imagine the weird formations and wrong player positions at times won’t be helping either

I think you are under the illusion that that is Pep's gameplan.

He has always preferred quick passes to break defenses down. It worked with Aguero because of his world class first touch.

It worked with false 9 because no one knew who would provide the shot on goal vs the pass.

But it is not working now because every defense knows the shot on goal is only coming from Haaland.

The only solution is since we've played false 9 for the past 2 years so they should all be chipping in with goals, but they seem to have all gotten old, lazy and seem to be happy keeping the ball and praying for Haaland miracles.

Defensively we also miss Ruben Dias.

Sometimes the simplest answer is the correct one.

No illusion, the game is exactly as i have described.Pep is the manger,he instructs our players how to play and he chooses the methods in which to do so.

Who's instructions are they following not to play the early/long ball if not Pep's?

Yeah he seems to be searching for an answer but making things worse in the process.

What i know about football compared to pep is beyond tiny, but we need to get back to basics in some way

Didn’t say you was moaning, nor did I say you wasn’t entitled to your opinion.

I posted a fact about Pep and his record and then I said we are still in a great position in January.

I appreciated that, its all about opinions.

Deep down i feel we will turn it round and go on one of our runs . Its just at the mo tough to watch.
Spoilt? Probably
Appreciative? Massivley

But we arent the city of old and i wont compare us to what we once were , we are a different club now. We should top notch

Haaland is the outlier here and as a team we need to learn to play both around him and get the most out of him whilst everyone else still shines and contributes.

Pep will solve it, no doubts.

Agree. We have the worlds best striker but he is ambling about up front looking like brett angel at the mo.
