So do I now. In the early days of implementing it, I can’t lie, it looked horrific and the football was dull. But Pep has persevered and is now reaping the rewards. The 3-2-2-3 is here to stay.

We have to do this with players that have already dominated this country. We shouldn’t have much motivation, it would be normal not to. And we’re against a team that ought to (and does) have all the desire in the world, having not won the league for two decades. Whether we win it or not, just to be fighting for it in that context shows how good Pep is.
