Reporter really pissing off Pep when questioning his celebration.

Watching from the telly, I genuinely thought Pep was just celebrating and Tsimikas happened to walk past. Of course, the telly does seem to frame it like he provoked Tsimikas.

The way he is continually adapting and developing his team is truly astonishing, I’ve never seen anything like it. Regardless of whether or not City win anything this season, Pep is extraordinary.
We have to do this with players that have already dominated this country. We shouldn’t have much motivation, it would be normal not to. And we’re against a team that ought to (and does) have all the desire in the world, having not won the league for two decades. Whether we win it or not, just to be fighting for it in that context shows how good Pep is.

Completely agree. It's just a shame the media in this country would rather concentrate on whether him shaking the hand of an opposing player is disrespectful or not. Pep is wasted on them.

Pep is a brilliant manager for us, the questions he is asked would be enough to boil anyones piss.

The way he has motivated Kev back to his top form just shows how good he is, not just with tactics but also with man management.

Removing Cancello seems to have also created a lot more stability and harmony in the team

Much is made about Pep being a chequebook manager and the bullshit about City's squad depth. It always ignores the genius that is Pep and his innovative uses of players to have tactical depth despite having a smaller squad. His adaptation is incredible.

So far this season, we've had Bernardo at LB or 6, Rico inverting and John Stones' heat map yesterday. Liverpool couldn't handle it yesterday but part of it is due to Klopp's inability to adapt & change. Given the personnel, I'm certain Pep would be able to overcome their midfield issues (Robertson would have played in midfield by now) but there's no way Klopp would have done any of the above. Pep is a genius.

Irrespective of whether we win anything, this season is up there with Pep’s best ever. We have to remember where we were in the first third of the season, maybe even first half of it. Practically the entire team seemed disinterested, the dressing room seemed oddly dysfunctional. Pep has had to dig so, so deep this season, using every tool available to him, psychological tricks, elite man-management, knowing when to go public with things, when to call people out, when not to etc. And now look at us. This is all down to Pep. Any other manager and we are neck and neck with Liverpool this season imo.
