It’s been set up over the last 4/5/6 years mate.Pep always used to talk about the fact that if we wanted to be serious CL contenders over a long-term period, we needed to be consistently making the final stages of the competition.
This is 3 semi-finals in a row. This might be setting us up for some long-term joy in this comp.
Why? What happens if we don't win it this year? It’s been set up over the last 4/5/6 years mate.
No more setting up is required.
We need to win this and this year.
Are we going to turn in to a pumpkin if we don’t win it this year? It’s been set up over the last 4/5/6 years mate.

We’ve had loads of decent chances in this comp which we have blown in the Pep era. Why? What happens if we don't win it this year?
Real Madrid lost 3 semi-finals in a row before winning it in 2014. Those semi-finals gave Real Madrid the platform to continuously make that stage and convert one into a win.
Maybe if Pep decided to leave. Are we going to turn in to a pumpkin if we don’t win it this year?
It's not about saying 'maybe next year'.We’ve had loads of decent chances in this comp which we have blown in the Pep era.
Who knows we may have a bad year in the comp next year!
The competition is getting better and better so how long do we just say well maybe next year?
No tent peg has the rags in 4th place. If Pep wins the treble will he win manager of the year or will Tony Pulis get the vote ?
Don't like the could bit. It's not about saying 'maybe next year'.
It's about laying a foundation so that any year for the next ten years could be the year(s).
But we could also win it three years on the bounce from next year, who knows?Don't like the could bit.
We have been the best club side in Europe for years yet not managed to win this competition.
We could fall away and be farther away in years to come, who knows?
Currently we are the team to beat so lets win it now and whatever happens in the future happens.
I see you are one of those optimist people:-)But we could also win it three years on the bounce from next year, who knows?
We need to prepare a 10-year contract extension for him, Chelsea-style. He is the Erling Haaland of coaching. Keeps on evolving this City team, a Blue through and through. There is no way we can ever directly replace him.
Thing is, we don't know if winning the CL means he's done here, time will tell. I just hope he still has the enthusiasm and energy to stay a while longer. We need to prepare a 10-year contract extension for him, Chelsea-style. He is the Erling Haaland of coaching. Keeps on evolving this City team, a Blue through and through. There is no way we can ever directly replace him.
