The t-shirt though
Whose those on peps shirt?
We have to enjoy the Pep era as this is something truly special.Pep's adaptability and eye for tweaks to still get best out of our team is actually fucking mental.
Kev, John and Bernie injured. PANIC STATIONS right?
Just another day in the office for our manager.
He's basically converted us to a 2-5-2-1. So instead of Walker tucking in and Stones going to midfield. He's got Walker providing the width on the right instead of a winger, Akanji moving to LCM and Rodri sitting deeper and splitting the 2 CBs when needed. This is turn is allowing Phil and Julian to stay high and narrow, taking the ball on the turn and look to get Erling in particular away.
Like we all thought Erling would suffer with no Kev but Peps found a system in which he was put through like 3 times last night plus many more attempted.
He alleviated his doubts in Phils defensive ability hindering him playing CM by making a system where he doesn't have to track back nearly as much in the KevxGundo one.
He's found a spot for Julian which could make the best of all his qualities.
It's allowing Akanji to play in CM but by being on the left and not the one splitting defence not nearly as much responsibility in moving in and out of defence as Rodri is doing it instead. So he can better learn the role.
Also can see the likes of Rico rotating in for Kyle and being much more comfortable defensively.
We are so fucking blessed to have him in charge, just as managers are starting to copy our last seasons set-up. 4 cbs(Arsenal) rb into midfield(Liverpool) we're moving on to something new and playing a fucking good Newcastle team off the park despite having a bare bones squad.
Great post and perfectly explains why one of the main things we look for when signing players is versatility.Pep's adaptability and eye for tweaks to still get best out of our team is actually fucking mental.

I was about to write about the new tweak but you beat me to it with perfect analysis. You just wonder what he has up his sleeve next. Maybe he thinks we can move Ederson into midfield!!Pep's adaptability and eye for tweaks to still get best out of our team is actually fucking mental.

“The fan was right” hahahahahahahahahaLol funny as this. The fan was right too.

Pep even explained his (very sound) reasoning afterwards yet still some just don’t seem to get it.“The fan was right” hahahahahahahahaha
Every football ignoramus has one solution for all issues. “MAkE sUbsTItuTiONs”. Why do they never ever learn?
