Some scandalous subs tonight. Taking Foden off when he was starting to play with his arrogance (confidence) again is criminal.

And bring Gundo on? Fine. But let him work with Kova. They’re both slow and could do with one another, not replacing each other.

Grealish’s main attribute is controlling a game. As soon as we went 2-0 up - and especially at 2-1 - he should’ve been on. Would’ve helped Gvardiol down the left too.

His use of the bench is just bad, Gundo for Kova didn't make sense after that West Ham game, it should've been McAtee for Silva or get Gundo on but with McAtee for Silva and KDB, also should've brought on Grealish for Savinho as Grealish is a great option when you're winning with a few minutes to go, he probably stops that cross at the end instead of a knackered Savinho.

And it must be said, his obsession with Bernie is just absurd at this point, he offers absolutely fuck all defensively and offensively just like Gundo, he finally got it with Gundo and dropped him but he's still insisting with Bernie, give the lad a rest and give someone else a chance.

Sub was awful. If Gundo was coming on, it should have been in addition to Kova and Bernie to get bodies in the middle. Gundo for Kova was suicidal.
Disagree. We would have still got overrun but had less goal threat. Not saying he should’ve came on but our only chance of winning that was to keep attacking and get more goals. We had the chances to do it too

I’ve just watched his post match presser and he’s said the same thing yet again: “Bernardo made an incredible effort.”

Nobody thinks he’s not trying… but the fact remains he’s just not good enough.

Even the effort is not that great anymore and who can blame him, he's been played to death and now just wanders on the pitch, yet watch him get another 90 minutes in the weekend.

Brave comment but you may have stuck your dick in a hornet’s nest here. :-O
Agree but I don’t care now. Truth is pep is not making things better & I now believe it’s time to move on next season. He’s shattered like the team & after winning so much non of them can motivate anymore which is natural. We thank them & move on.

Thought the game was won, and we far from had, piss poor management again this season

Unless Kova (or his transponder) indicated he needed out, Pep should have replaced Bernie with Lewis to add some hustle and bite into the middle of the park.

We played with Kova and Bernie as our central midfield. Replacing Kova with Gundo meant zero speed and zero tackles, plus zero recovery runs.

Conversely, we could have taken off Foden and Savinho, and put on Lewis at RB, Nunes into RM and Simpson-Pusey as an extra CB, so that we weren’t so narrow at the back.

The goals came from Gvardiol playing as a narrow full back and not stopping the over the top ball coming into the middle. The extra CB allows the FBs to push out to their wingers.

At some point, like every other club in the world, there is a time to play 5-4-1/4-5-1 to control the result with a few minutes to go. Not sure when we are going to learn the easy stuff, or if Pep can, but it is proving very costly this season.

Hard to fathom what lens Pep is looking at the game through at the moment. I did think tonight was better for the most part, but the 80+ minute collapse thing has to be addressed, fucking hell.

As Brentford came on and chased the game, it was crying out for Doku to take them on the counter with Savinho.
More like Grealish to win a few fouls and take the life out of the game, also can track back.

He still sucks at subs. It should have been O'Reilly and Rico coming in for Kova not Gundo. We need legs
