still waiting for any indication that the next game will be different, that he's figured it out, that we're turning a corner, but everything he says in his press conferences give me the opposite feeling.
Now I'm really worried as you are one of the most optimistic posters on here...I mean that as a compliment...

We're on repeat. He's abandoned this season. we watch the match, everyone is bored shitless, not because we're losing, but because we play the most soporific football I've seen in years by any team, we then lose, some people immediately point the finger at the management, at which point lots of people remind us of what we used to be and over the next week we forget the nightmare we've just watched....and then it repeats. And its been that way for 7 months since the fa cup final.
I have to agree. This football can cure insomnia...

I’ve gone from “Ah no big deal pep will sort this out” to “Uh how is Pep gonna fix this without signings!?”

I’m never gonna doubt pep and I’d give him a lifetime contract if he’d accept one, but I’d be a bit disappointed if he doesn’t stop this slide before getting new players. Our squad is thin but the quality is not reflective of our position in the table. There’s clearly a mental fatigue aspect, but a manager of Peps calibre should be able to turn this ship around before January and have the new signings come into a team bouncing back, not just be the thing that causes a u turn.

When you say “bouncing back”, to what level do you think that will be? Top 4? Top 10? CL winners?

Heard some grumblings about Pep and an affair with a physio, came off a fellow blue pal of mine, not sure of the validity of it but it would explain the seemingly downed tools displays by players.
Will see if anymore comes out.
