You still here begging for us to sack pep, you only turned up these last couple of weeks to tell us we should sack him as it suits you if we did , fuck off telling us what we need when you have selfish intentions
I know its pointless to respond to somebody who repeatedly says 'fuck off' to everything you say, but I find it hilarious that you think I believe I have that kind of influence where my opinion on the topic matters to the point that I would conceal my agenda so as to appear as if I want Pep out because that is the logical move, but in fact what I'm actually doing is trying to manipulate some powers at be (on a freaking football forum) to fire Pep, so that Man City becomes less of a rival to Real Madrid. A part of me is honored that you see me as such a threat, but I would honestly have to be some kind of megalomaniac supervillain psychopath to come up with such a devious scheme.

So I suggest you get a grip of reality. People are not out to get you. Fans of other clubs are not secret agents. This is not a life or death matter to me. You're curious about my motivations? Believe it or not, I just enjoy the game, I like to think in a problem solving way, and enjoy debating in an argumentative fashion. Doku is my favorite player, but I like several other City players, so I want to see them succeed. Real Madrid is my favorite club, but thats the extent of it. I'm not its representative, I don't think it has some culture that makes it special, and I don't go out of my way to do its bidding. Relax.

Not much of a judge if Doku is your favourite player.

In the context of influence, maybe if Man City fans as a collective gave Doku a bit more love, the way a plethora of footballing experts from managers to players give him, he would be more buoyant and confident and would have more impact. Just a thought.

I just can't believe that our academy has produced the perfect replacement for every single position we need right now and we just completely squandered every single one. The buyback policy has been a joke.
Right back? Frimpong and porro, succeeding somewhere else.
DM? Lavia. Succeeding somewhere else.
Striker? Delap. Succeeding somewhere else.
KDB replacement? Palmer. Succeeding somewhere else.
Number 8? Rogers. Succeeding somewhere else.

Maybe. What Im certain is ridiculous is how much hostility there is among you lot toward a talented youngster that contributed plenty to the 23/24 Premier league title.
There is very little hostility, if any at all.
With the exception of one or two players, most are playing well below what they are capable of.
When a player is doing well, he receives the credit and when he is not playing well , there can be criticism.
Foden, Gvardiol, Ederson, Walker, Haaland and Gundogan have been getting a lot more stick.
I am guessing you're from Belgium and maybe taking things a little more personally because it is Doku but everyone wants to see him do well.
We genuinely don't care where our players come from but expect them to put in a shift and play to their capabilities.
Along with some ķother City players, Doku is not doing this consistently.
You shouldn't see this as a personal insult to Doku but a response to our current situation.
His attempt to control the ball yesterday led to a goal for Everton.
He wasn't the only culprit.
His " hands in the air" when he loses a tackle and failure to track back isn’t helping him

He may end up being one of our greats and hopefully he will

You’ll have posters calling you “negative” for point this out. Even if it is true.

Fair enough, I agree with most of what you said. I was born in Antwerp and I followed him since a teenager, so maybe it does seem to me like people are being too unfair when its just criticism for his performances. It just feels like that for the others, its 'they are in a slump' or 'not used properly' while for Jeremy its 'he lacks talent, always have and always will' which I strongly disagree with.

Either way not the Doku thread, so I will end it here. Appreciate the good will!
