You really think he thought "fuck it I can't be bothered to try and sort it out, we'll just lose it" ??? NutsStubborn to the point where he'd rather lose game after game than address the frailties in the team.

Who knows. They both ended up on the pitchWhy do you think they didn't start?
Not wrong when you look at the team and benchI don't think Pep has any answers of how to get us out of this current mess. He's said yesterday that every team we face now are better than us, concerning statement really
Right cheers, my mistakeHe didn't say that at all. He was on about defending set-pieces with our current players.
I know who knows, maybe you could guess. Or you could just read the managers explanation from before the game.Who knows. They both ended up on the pitch

Half the team are injured and half of those that are playing are coming back from injuryHe's watched the same things happening for 6 weeks and changed it once against Forest in which we played well and won convincingly. Then he reverts back to type and we get lucky to get a point at fucking struggling palace!
Am I missing something in his decisions? Its beyond actual belief how he stands and watches these performances and leaves changes so late.
This form is just as much on him as It is injuries or anything else. We don't make top 8 never mind top 4 playing as we are right now.
Oh he can be bothered, that's not the point. He just won't for reasons known only to himself sort the fucking defence out. Of the fullbacks neither Lewis or walker are the answer, Gvardiol as good as he is isn't a left back either and then there's the fucking high line. I'd say we've went whole seasons without conceding as many as we have already. Forest should have been the catalyst , it wasn't.You really think he thought "fuck it I can't be bothered to try and sort it out, we'll just lose it" ??? Nuts

We got 4 fit defenders...that includes Walker and Lewis. Who else is he meant to play there with Stones, Ake and Akanji all out injured ? It's hard to sort the defence out with 3 senior defenders on the treatment table. Gvardiol needs a rest, Walker shouldn't be playing and Lewis is struggling defensively but there's no one else available to come in as alternatives.Oh he can be bothered, that's not the point. THEY ARE CARRYING INJURIESNot starting Grealish and Doku proved a poor decision today.
Forest are fifth. They’ve won away at Liverpool, drawn away at Brighton, drawn away at Chelsea, won away at United… the only away game they’d lost this season before playing us was at Arsenal.Nottingham is not a good team.
Even if they aren’t carrying those injuries anymore, starting one game doesn’t mean they’re fit enough to start the immediate game after just three days later.THEY ARE CARRYING INJURIES
Well, we’ve got this ‘world class academy’ and we’re winning the divisions at almost every age group, so there might be an answer in there somewhere? We got 4 fit defenders...that includes Walker and Lewis. The lack of understanding this from our fans is simply daft.
The fact that bothers me is when Pep realized that Jack won’t be ready to start he didn’t give the chance to James. He just went back to tactics with Gundo exposed what brought us this bad run.
There is no chance we are getting good results with that idea of playing while Rodri and Kova are out.
I don’t think that should be the reason to expose Gundo and whole defensive line after so many lost matches. We are conceding goals to easily and having only one midfielder is probably the very first reason.I think Pep is more adaptable than you give him credit for.
It's clear Pep doesn't prefer Nunes in the middle but considering no one else is providing assists or through balls to our striker.. Pep is willing to put him on the wing as hes creating chances for Erling and they're on the same wave length and Erling seems to know what Nunes is trying to do. It's similar to his connection with KDB!
Where as with others they look chaotic, like there is no intuition of where to pass to, where Erling should be. Sometimes you start thinking.. why didn't Haaland make a run there?
With McAtee I think Pep did give him 15 minutes vs Feyenoord to impress and he couldn't hold onto the ball and we know what happened.
The biggest example of this is when Rodri lost the ball vs Brighton in the 20-21 season and didn't track back, just looked at the sky and we didn't see him again that season and Pep started Gundo in the CL final vs Chelsea.
So to be a Pep midfielder he has to be able to trust him implicitly that the player will not lose the ball stupidly. Even Foden didn't get a whiff in the middle for 7.. that's right SEVEN years!
