IMO Haaland would move a lot more, if he thought he had any chance whatsoever of receiving a quick pass/through ball etc. I wouldn’t move either, if every time I moved, I watched my midfielders pass backwards/sideways. We have a midfield and bunch of wide men, that aren’t fit for purpose.
Any city fan doubting haaland us either not a city fan.
Or just insane..what other player would these people rather have than him.. yes he's ina bad patch.
But still top scorer in the league.
If he's not he's close to it.
He's not a great footballer.
But he's a fucking amazing goal scorer.
We're so lucky he plays for us.
Please let's not forget who we are.
We're man city.
Used to have the best fans in he world .
Not entitled twats.
Not aimed at you personally.
But fuck me.
I've watched city with Nigel Glen horn.
Nigel cough.
Carardi or how ever you spell it.
For give me I'm dyslexic.
But let's calm down a bit.
We will come again.

But dot doubt the one genuine world class player we have..uts the system not the player

He's as much to blame as Txiki for the lack of recruitement.
The lack of the numbers maybe but I don't believe he identified players like Kovacic or Nunes. Both were done because deals were there. Even Gundogan was a deal out of convenience.

I believe he wanted Rice but we didn't want to pay.

We've compromised too much in the last 2 seasons and we've come out of it with a squad lacking technical and physical qualities.

Don't let Nunes melt down take away that the whole game was awful and honestly I had no idea why rags did not win earlier.

Because they are fucking wank that’s why, worst side we’ve had at etihad all season, and they still beat us, must have been in our half 6 or 7 times all second half, but a stupid fucking idiotic mistake has cost us in this game simple as

Lets pretend Pep is not part of shit recruitment.

And managers are not responsible for teaching players not making ridiculous mistake week in week out.
Part of it but some of the players bought in the last 2 seasons were deals of convenience for the club and not first choice targets.

I don't believe for a second that Kovacic, Nunes and Gundogan were on Pep's radar but he was probably told the other targets (I.e. Rice) weren't achievable.

big problem is the squad is not fit. I dont mean the injuries, I mean the players that are are fit are not really fit, look tired, look slow. we seem very tired around 30th minute in recent games in November, December. with the schedule is being as it is, is it only gonna get worse?

it effects our overall play, speed of our play. slow, almost timid at times, our passing is slow too, allows more mistakes, allows opponents to close us down better etc

6000 games every season but the man wants a small squad. If the players are physically exhausted and frail, it is largely his fault.

Well the great reputation is evaporating and being tarnished so he's surely got to think of this in the coming days. It's hard to regain once it's lost. I love the man but soon he could be in Alan Ball territory with regard to amount of losses totting up. Turning it around from here would be something incredible. The next 3-4 weeks are going to define whether he signs one or two players or gets a fully fit defensive back line.

Kova and Gundo were deals pushed by Pep. It was confirmed and well documented. Although I think they were bought in as squad fillers. But still not good squad planning.

We'll fuck all these cunts off in the next 6 months who don't want to be here for the next stage. Who are happy with the trophies they have already won and the wages they have earned.

He still has the hunger. We have the cash to rip it all up and start again and I wouldn't want anybody else other than Mr Pep Guardiola.

Yes as squad fillers but only because the club pushed the line of them being good financial deals. Pep may have pushed it through but they would not have been 1st choice options at the start of the window.

Kova was a done deal even before the window opened.

You are just finding excuses for Pep.

And his 1st choice Bellingham refused Pep in person.

Look at the tactic do u honestly think any bright young lads want to join this slow shit show?

More reason to sprinkle in some of the young lads until we get a full squad.

Rice would have been a headless chicken in any Pep team. He wouldn't be the answer to our problems.

His other target, Bellingham, would have been Pogba Mk 2 at City. Another unsuitable player.

Guy looks lost and stressed to fuck, his mannerisms were all over the show in that interview , his head is all over the place clearly.

Do you honestly think Pep tells them to play so slowly. He's always gesturing to up the tempo, they can't do it anymore, they are fucked. It's not Pep, he's proven for a decade give him the players and he'll win trophies at a rate not seen before in history playing champagne football. It's like blaming Hamilton for the Mercedes being shit.

His reputation is fine. Hes revolutionized football. So many coaches copy his style and his protégés are flourishing as they manage theirmown teams in his style. Treble. Domestic quad. 4 on the trott. His reputation is going nowhere and only idiots (not aiming at you) would think otherwise.

He’s certainly doing himself no favours at the moment but I would be confident we’ll be back amongst the best next seaosn.

Klopp had a year off every 3 and hes still gods gift to many.

To be fair a headless chicken would be better than what’s been out there the last couple of months

Yeah way too soon to think he's past it, needs a few years like this, like Mourinho and Wenger.

What confuses me, is Pep has been warning of this drop for 2 seasons but we seem wholly unprepared for it. Not just the recruitment, but his playing style and selections. We have half the team injured and half who are playing are absolutely shot physically and mentally.
