Good to hear some more pointed comments in public from him about the need for better performances, and how players can’t rely on what they’ve done in the past if they want to remain at the club.

I appreciate that he’s been trying to improve the team’s morale during a difficult period, but I think this sort of change of tone from him has been overdue.

Also interesting to hear him say that ‘almost all’ of the players want to fight and get back to our previous levels. He said something similar in the past in relation to Cancelo, so it will be interesting to see if anyone gets the same sort of treatment this month in terms of a surprise exit.

He’s been waiting for a few wins to call them out.

Kinda interesting he says it about Grealish specifically?

Unless the reporter name called Jack.

Why not about Doku?

Just reading a book called Pep’s City. Not very well written in my opinion but gives a real insight into him. This run and our performances will be really affecting him mentally.
I've read it too. And agree. It's painful at times especially towards the end of the Barca managers role. He will most certainly have been very stressed and unwell during the long non winning run we have just endured.

Doku is soft as and has to be handled accordingly but Doku is motivated and trying, just not sure he has the mentality to succeed at the highest level.

Very interesting, i am glad he is calling out certain players for not wanting to try and help us out of this seasons rut, the praise for nathan was great
I've just watched that and it got me thinking.

When Pep decides to leave it won't be because of his wife or kids wanting him to leave. It won't be the cold rainy Manchester weather. It won't be because he's not keen on English food. It won't be because he's bored of managing us, no.

It will be because he's sick to fuckin' death of answering the same banal questions from the same idiotic cunting journos!

Whilst I agree with you it could be he leaves because he got bored like the rest of us of watching sideways football?

I said in his pre game press conference something was different. Post match - mischievous Pep is back. You can see he’s so much more himself.

he said something like - I’ve a nice bottle of wine inside for us, to the Salford manager after
I was able to determine from lip reading
