Obviously, we all feel he has left a lot to be desired these past few months, but the boys just put up 3.43 expected goals in one of the toughest away games of the season when taking stakes into the equation, with a squad that just a few days ago had most away on international duty.

The man is still the best in the world for the job, and I hope he learns all he needs from this underwhelming season and comes back with a vengeance next August.

The biggest surprise is Pep admitting he made a mistake not playing the academy players more this season.

His reason, as I always knew it was, was that he feared playing them while we were in playing poor would do them more harm them good.

But it seems like he now knows that was flawed, they play with no fear.

Tbf I see where he is coming from, and Rico Lewis is evidence of this. He has been thrown to the wolves this year in an injured and disorganised team and looked completely overexposed.

But yeah, the guys who are on the fringes are going to try and get noticed, so maybe going young and quick has its benefits. I've said for the last 2 seasons the team needs to get faster.

No chance it'll be real. Pep wouldn't step down when things are going right, he definitely wouldn't do it when things have gone a bit poorly (comparatively) this season.

Well he came, saw and conquered, grateful for what he has achieved but a season like this is not acceptable, not just referring to the league position. Players don't become bad overnight, his tactics have become obsolete, this inverted full back nonsense pisses me off! only worked the last six months of the treble season, his interviews in press are beyond nauseating.

He's won everything here, go on, take a well deserved break and I guarantee, in 4/5 years he could possibly come back. As it stands he doesn't have the capability to rebuild this squad. ITS BORING!!!

Totally agree. His reaction in the second half and after the game shows he 100% behind getting it right. If you don't think he's up for the challenge and Pep mark 3 then you've not been watching the man.
