Cmon you know what I mean. He spends a load of cash which a new manager will need to work with & they might not be players he wants. Why, would he take the 300m players with him?

I actually think this is what's going to happen. If we win the FA cup and finish in CL, he'll bow out.I don't know why, but I've started thinking that if we secure top five and win the FA Cup, Pep should bow out on that and leave with his head held high.
Not in an angry "Pep Out" kind of way. I actually think if we kept him for the final two years of contract he'd win us the Premier League one more time.
But the entire club is entering a new era with Txiki going and De Bruyne is joining him. Maybe this is the right time to flood the club with new ideas and fresh faces.
Let Pep sort out issues in his personal life, take the massive payout and spend a year out of the game, picking the best offer on his desk at the point of his return.
Let's get Inzaghi on the phone from Inter and see if he fancies giving England a go and turning us into a counter-attacking side with Marmoush and Haaland leading the line.
Like how Wenger should have left Arsenal in 2014 but didn't, I don't want us hanging on and on and on, never knowing when Pep's actually going to go until it's too late.
Win the FA Cup and leave with yet another piece of silverware. Put a lovely cap on his time here by winning the third FA Cup of his tenure with his old guard and send him off with a smile.

That would be a failing of the club from top to bottom. Either that, or we'd appointed Tony Pulis. Which I suppose is the same thing.Cmon you know what I mean. He spends a load of cash which a new manager will need to work with & they might not be players he wants.
The best coach around wouldn’t have picked that team today. There’s not a better coach than Pep around. People need to be very careful what they wish for. That’s before we talk about the fact literally a year ago he won his 4th title on the bounce.
This thread has got to end up in the ‘classic threads’.
In 10 years time blues will be amazed at the utter madness spoken about our greatest ever managers.
What a clown he must have been. Proper idiot.
Because the same statistical model would have likely had City at 90% to beat the second worst Premier League team of all time? You asked me if I'd give 100%
I quoted a statistical model that says the chance is 94% and that I'd go with that
You then said it was irrelevant.
So why did you ask?
Yes, but not Inzaghi! He’s fucking mental and I don’t fancy him remonstrating up and down the touchline for 95 minutes every game. In England, he’d be banned for half the season!I don't know why, but I've started thinking that if we secure top five and win the FA Cup, Pep should bow out on that and leave with his head held high.

Could not agree more, we will be accused of being happy clappers by some of the fools on Bluemoon for still wanting the man who led us to 18 trophies to lead us again next season. This thread has got to end up in the ‘classic threads’.

When games start we all see we playing to slow to predictable we all seen how it will pan out especially this season! So one of my big bug bares is pep will see it 9/10 will do nought in the first half and for me it's because the players are doing what he has asked but way to slow and he thinks a goal will come eventually with how we dominate the game!
he needs some help in the staff. whoever helping him with set pieces need replacing. also tactically we looked lot better with Arteta and Maresca around. young upcoming managers, with ideas and some passion.
old Lillo sleeping on the bench next to him may not be helpful much.
we need to play more exciting football.
the tired and over the hill players who have their best years behind them ad I include Bernardo, Stones, Grealish in that not just Gundo, KDB, Walker, this wont cut it. they served us well, but now they hold us back.
while lot of recruitment recently just not up to great standards.
we do need a serious winger in the ilk of Saka, Salah, Raphinha etc, with serious output. if we had one Pep wouldnt default to ask fullback to offer width with limited wingback skills o the attacking side of things..
also in Marmoush again we signed a great player who excels in transitions, fast pace attacks look at his highlights in Frankfurt, polar opposite to our general playing style. we prefer slow attacks, we even wait opponent to arrive back after a corner once they are set defensively then we start move the ball ahead slowly. this is so bad to watch.
but generally we need to play quicker, rather than sign players who good inn that but ask them to play our older-slower style.
its telling Flick arrived at Barca and first thing he did was telling Gundo who he was friend with from national team, that he wont cut it because Barca needs to play a high tempo style going forward and he wont have the engine.
we on the other hand were happy to bring him back, we dont play high tempo, "your slower engine will be perfect here"
things sad at the time Barca doesnt respect him, they dont value his experience etc. they just knew what style they want to build, and Flick knew after 2-3 pre season training days he cant do that.
It means there's a 94% chance we qualify for the Champions League.Because the same statistical model would have likely had City at 90% to beat the second worst Premier League team of all time?
Proof that percentages from statistical models mean absolutely nothing in predicting the outcome of something.
I just thought you'd have a bit more of a stronger argument to back up your point of defending Peps management so vehemently after an absolutely awful result, which has left our qualification for champions league in the balance.
