Didn't some people on here say when we got Pellers in that it was part of a plan that would see Pep here in 3 years? Sounded a bit far fetched to me at the time!

I think Pellegrini is here to put in the philosophy Txiki wants City to play laying down a foundation for Guardiola.

I can see Vieira becoming Guardiola's assitant as well ready to take over for when Pep's time is up.

I could be wrong but that is what it looks like to me.

This is what I reckon also, & quite frankly if this was our near future I'd be delighted as we'd win all sorts.
