We'll see in a years time.

How will we see? If we sign him in a years time, it just means we sign him in years time. It doesn't prove there is some grand plan.

Correct. Football clubs don't succession plan with finite timescales. It takes all the pieces of the jigsaw to fit together at the right time for an appointment to happen. Guardiola is the most respected manager in football, so if a time comes when he wants to move on, he will have his pick of jobs. Whether ours is one depends on whether there is a vacancy. Whether there's a vacancy depends on the success of the incumbent at that time.

The chances of all that coming together in exactly a year are minuscule.

It's not long since Jose Mourinho was telling people in private that he saw the City job as his destiny. Now that seems extremely unlikely. Football is unpredictable and things change very quickly.
In your head?

Another baseless throwaway cliche from Dimwit D

Must be difficult for him to say given the adoration he showered on Mourinho until he betrayed him by going back to Chelsea.

You accusing me of "adoration" of a football manager is pretty funny.

You do realise there is an irony here? A rather big one?

Why not be like your Wildean pal above and call me Stinkpants or Bumhead or something? Really hammer the point home, eh?

You cellar boys are so badass. Proper fucking geezers.

You must have me confused with someone else. Never go in the cellar.

Pep's proved nothing at Bayern. He's done no better than Lennon's done at Celtic. I'd win the Bundesliga with Bayern.
He did really struggle to beat the mighty Moyes' and his merry band if Rags!
