Re: pepe guardiola

I don't see Pep managing the rags. Some other lost soul will take over there in my opinion.

I believe Pep will replace Ferguson in two years time.

It fits in with Ferguson's own retirement plans.

City just aren't at the stage where we can plan that far ahead in terms of a manager.

Anything could happen in the prior two years which would deem it necessary to make a change at the helm.

A change that I still think will happen this summer.

Not a pop at Paul, who is a good lad and clearly gets decent bits of info.

May I ask how you are aware of Ferguson's retirement plans?

I agree Pep will be the next rag manager but following bacon will be very hard

My money is on Moyes, he'd be perfect for them.

I would be amazed to see United hire someone with absolutely zero Champions League experience.

What happens if Pep is an unmitigated disaster at Bayern? No-one knows if he can manage another team to the levels he reached with Barca.
Even hughes would win next seasons bundesliga with bayern.

Klopp is proven to be someone who can build a team with little money. I imagine they'd get a good £20m for Lewandowski too, so, if they can spend (what basically would be) £52m wisely, then they will still challenge.

They just need to increase the size of their squad, rather than pay multi millions for superstars. A couple of Reus-esque signings, such as Draxler for instance, coupled with a few others could give them the squad depth they have needed for some time.

It will certainly give everyone an even better idea of how good a manager Klopp is/can be, if you didn't already think he was one.

It's classic WUM protocol for any half decent WUM Karen, keep a low profile football-wise but post in a 'pro club' manner , get yourself known around the general forum as a bit of a laugh for a while, you know, a bit of banter etc, gain peoples confidence, get a few 'mates' onside, and then slowly start showing your true colours, but not so much as to be outright obvious, leave yourself a bit of room for manoeuvre and above all, play the long game ;-)

Maybe what I'm about to put is totally irrelevant to this thread, however; Jürgen Klopp is an outstanding manager. His man management skills are second to none. He made Mancini look like a novice. He's been a father figure to them young lads and gave them the belief that they can beat the likes of Real Madrid and City, whereas Mancini was unable to motivate a group of super stars. I've heard lots of Blues say, "yeah, but it was a tough group". Was it really? Us along with Madrid, should have pissed it and yet, we came last. Klopp won't come to City and who could blame him for that? What most City fans on here must understand, is that, we are a club that's going places, but Roberto is not the man to take us where we want to be. I'm sorry. And feel free to slate me for this: you all entitled to your opinion.

Do you mean Löw? Haha, why would a HUGE football Club like Bayern, want Löw? You can't compare managing a bunch of proud German lads, who want win for their country, to managing a bunch of multi national, multi millionaire super stars. Some crackin humour on here :)

Don't for one minute I'm questioning your credentials Karen but your join date is underneath your name, so he'd hardly have to go through all your posts to find that out. He just has to look at your name when you post.
