I agree but not sure Pep fancies Delph in Ferns position otherwise he would of done that on Saturday and put the young lad Zinchenko at left back and Stones where he should play next to Laporte a combination that seems to work well and gives us more success results wise

We need to sign a quality backup/replacement at DM - not sure though how feasible this is in the Winter; and now that FIFA seems to be under pressure to reign us in, a big-money winter signing might not be prudent.

Hasn’t the lad ndombele got min fee release clause on him? Thought it £40-50 mill .

He doesn't fancy Zinchenko at LB either, so only plays him there in lesser games, and why Delph plays there in the bigger games, now it'll probably be Laporte at LB, and Otamendi at CB on Sunday.
