Pep - no signings coming in in January

Weigl would be far too much of a risk right now. In my opinion he wouldn't cut it and I'd rather go with someone more similar to fern.

So would I, but there isn't anyone available in January I can think of similar to Fernandinho.

If at all possible, i would:

Sell Diaz Mangala and Zinchenko in January, recoup around 25-30 million.
Bring in weigl (25 million) and firpo (40). Net spend of 35 to 40 million in January may be manageable.

Weigl fallen out of favour, a gamble worth taking IMO. Completely different player to Gundogan before the inevitable comparisons. Firpo in good form and can cover multiple positions.

Why would we sign a left winger who can play left back we need someone who can defend otherwise we can just play delph or zinchenko.

He's about as similar in play style to Gundogan as Gareth Barry was to Delph.

Would rather have Yaya back than Weigl. One of the most overrated players in the world currently

We do,but signing Bertrand would be exactly that....desperate.
