Maybe just maybe we need to develop the collar site to have a better evening and late night atmosphere. A hotel doesn't hurt for long distance travellers.

I'm not taking about where it started (it started long before our Moscow trip by the way, never started there) I'm talking about UEFA's racist condoning not being years ago as suggested by someone else. I've never been around the family stand, but always see from the display names of children on their first game and a lot of activity around Moonchester. If the majority of family stand doesn't come for evening games, then the attendance for CL is about right.
i think the setup is ok with bringing kids into games and getting them hooked if that's the word to use, i knew a united fan years ago who worked in the leisure industry down in london and they bus hundreds of chinese tourists up to old trafford at inflated prices, coach, match and one night in a shitty hotel all in for £500 and they made plenty of money and still are
we have an aging fan base which followed us from maine road the 32,000 that turned out every week when we went through the lower leagues are now in their 50s
And this coupled with the fact that we have very few day trippers and out of towners. We are still a very unfashionable and provincial club,we have as you say an aeging fan base, the percentage of match going fans in the 16-25 age group is very low or so it appears to me.
