Please not Demichelis!! He's a disaster waiting to happen.
And yet Pellegrini somehow got far in CL with him at the heart of defense.

Re: Pepe

Real will inevitably come back for Sergio next summer, Pepe would help us but I'm hesitant to do business with them.

Cadena Cope: Txiki will fly to Madrid today and try to sign Pepe (30).
About time.

Pull this off, Cheeky, and that's us sorted.

Absolutely. Going to be nearly impossible to do I'd guess, but it would increase our chances of winning the league dramatically, not to mention our chances in the CL.

Re: Pepe

Pepe's a must, not Demichelis though, plus, once Nastasic is fit, he can slot into the back four whilst Pepe could go into that holding role in midfield.

Demichelis is impossible, because he signed for Atletico Madrid in this summer.

So, Txiki only sign for Pepe and...maybe Coentrao ?

Those two additions, Pepe and Coentrao, would make our t-window 100% perfect. And if we could get such a high fee for Kolarov as reported, it would be a miraculous window.

Re: Pepe

from another esteemed forum

"Watch out City are coming! The Sporting Director of City, Txiki Begiristain, will travel this very day to the Spanish capital to try to sign Pepe. Manuel Pellegrini is seeking a central defender and likes the Madrid player very much.

The former Malaga manager knows the Portuguese player to perfection as he managed him at Madrid and knows that he is a very complete footballer, capable of acting as the defensive axis or in midfield. With the emergence of Varane, it seems that the portuguese has been relegated to the second level and because of this Pellegrini is openeing the door for him to play in the first team of one of the biggest teams on the continent.

According to Cadena Cope the British club would offer 23 million euros to gain Pepe's services, money which Perez would invest in the signature of Gareth Bale.

Be that as it may, Ancelotti has already decalred on several accasions that pepe is very important to the first team, in which case it would seem to be very complicated for him to leave this summer. We will know in the next few days whether he will end up going to Manchester or, on the other hand, decides to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

See more at: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mancityfans.net/mcfnet/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=45752#sthash.HyzJIRXK.dpuf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mancityfans.net/mcfnet/viewt ...
