Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Not sure if we should extend the contract. This season is almost a total failure - but the measure of our manager these days is in the CL and he's under performing badly. More pragmatism needed (and more than two fucking strikers!).

And let's fire our scouting department and defense coach as well. If we have any. How these guys spend all their time scouting and could not muster one full workable pair of defence after spending 300 million

Our defensive acquisitions have been poor, Walker and Laporte apart.

The money we have spent looking for a LB for over 5 years is a disgrace and we are as weak now as before.

Not replacing Kompany disgrace, not sorting out the John Stones issue , a disgrace. Giving Otto a new contract at his age and with doubts whether he wanted to stay was strange.

We have blown a major opportunity to win three titles in consecutive seasons and blow the chance to win the Champions League which may never be as winable as it was this season.

We have made major mistakes as a club and it's not the first time that after success we have been utterly complacent and arrogant.

One thing that does worry me, many people think Pep is doing us a favour with his presence at our club, BOLLOCKS, he should be the one who is greatful , this is a wonderful club to be in charge of, he wants for nothing and is given everything he demands, maybe that's the issue!

I’m not sure I would describe us as an arrogant club. Made mistakes yes, but we don’t know fully what prevents us making the changes you highlight

If United sacked Ferguson after every less than stellar season or after any particularly stupid cup elimination he would have been sacked 20 times at least.

If next season things continue on a downward trend, then fine, there's a discussion to be had. Or if this season had been a Mourinho at Chelsea level catastrophe, then sure, ask away. But sacking a manager one year off of a unprecedented domestic treble without any room for a turnaround is the kind of arrogant thing many of the clubs we profess to hate do for fun.

Some of you should try showing a bit of loyalty to the most successful ever manager of Manchester City. To turn on him so easily is in such poor taste.

Maybe Pep just needs a fire lighting under him.
