Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Would welcome him staying longer, however we all know that he will do whatever he wants to do.

If he does stay, he needs realise that the cycle is changing and his style of play can still work but he has to add more athletes with considerably more speed and endurance to his team's as we have become far too easy to read.

A bit more work on our out of possession play in our own defensive will help calm defenders a bit too.

The choice is yours Pep, use this an opportunity to improve on your blueprint or fold.

Simeone.

Pep represents almost nothing that is City.
The fact that he would rather Messi stayed at Barca than brought him to City just shows that the club aren’t his number one priority. I’d rather be less successful but have a better heart than that.

Who is to say Pep doesn't think it will work with him at City? It would be the Messi show. Based on this week's efforts from Messi, with his non existent work rate, we would struggle against hard working teams in the PL with him up front. Wonderful player when he turns it on obviously, but a big no from me too.

Again what the fuck have utd got to do with us in the champions league? I dont get posters doing it.
Are you trying to take the piss?
Maybe I'm old school but my first thought isn't to think " fuck me utd did this and won that".
Unless you are a utd fan on the wind up I cant think of anything that would make a 'city' fan mention them lot.
Edit - seeing as you mentioned utd and the fact we have gone 9 years without being in the champions league final, utd went THIRTY TWO YEARS between final appearances.

Well I did not accuse someone whose views I did not appreciate of being a United fan so I don't think I am the one who is doing the winding up.
Secondly I never mentioned United once. I talked about Ferguson and Pep as coaches and the necessity to adapt to changing football. Because a longevity of a coaching career depends on updating yourselves with time. I like Pep way to much to see him getting consumed in his intensity. This loss would be hurting him as well. But if he doesn't change or adopt this CL draught for him is going to continue.
It's not we but Pep who went 9 years without a final

I think seeing Pardew touted as a potential replacement for Pep Guardiola has to be one of the worst things I have ever seen posted on Bluemoon.
I didn't see that. Has someone said that in all seriousness?
At least Pardew won manager of the year which Bobbymanc never did!!
Pardew and BFS in, Pep out!
World gone mad.

Against the top 4 (before Liverpool had already won the league):
Won - 1
Drew - 1
Lost - 5
(no clean sheets)

So against top teams we didn’t do so well (Exception being RMA).

In 19 games this season we:
Scored - 87
Conceded - 6

Against weak teams we were amazing (biggest exceptions being Norwich, Southampton, wolves twice).

I would honestly rather beat those lower teams by less and win more of the others. I’d rather have a system that stopped us getting beat by United even if it means we score 3 instead of 8 against Watford!

lol and I’m talking shite?! You just turned down the GOAT.

if pep really thought messI’s style didn’t suit us (lol) then he could have said that. But he didn’t. He disrespected City. Because he believes he is bigger than us and always will.

Funny that the owners don't come out and say pep has to win it or else.
The way I see it is pep has all the time in the world, if he doesn't win it this year then txiki will put his arm around him and say my friend no problem we will attempt it next year.
If we had owners like half the impatient, gormless fuckers who post on here we'd be in the North West counties league in a heartbeat.
