Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

we're 2 points better off than this stage last year, and we would be 3rd (like last year) in last season's table but have a 6 point lead over 4th, and be only 1 point off the top.

So Pep is unlucky in the sense that the top 6 is so competitive this year, which is why United have been given such a helping hand in the past 3 months because the authorities knew they'd be completely out of it without that help. Easily the most competitive premier league in a long while. At the current points scoring rate the top 6 would be.

1) Chelsea 94.
2) Tottenham 81.
3) Liverpool 81.
4) Arsenal 79.
5) Man City 76.
6) Man Utd 72.

Would be pretty unheard of, going to be one hell of an end to the season.

Sad to see so called blues turning on the manager who's inherited an aging squad who don't have the legs nor the ability to do what he asks on a regular basis. The guy needs time and a number of windows to get the right personnel. He will make mistakes along the way as we've seen with Bravo but thats part of the journey he and the club and fans need to travel. As for people demanding the execs to get binned, most haters couldn't run a bath let alone run MCFC/CFG. The press are desperate for him to fail and so are opposition fans and so called expert pundits. Why is that?
Fear. They are shit scared that when it all comes together we will blitz this league with attractive, decisive football which will be a joy to watch. I for one can't wait and it will be worth the wait.

Keep the faith.

The Rags are asking for a couple of transfer windows because of what JM has inherited after spending 200 million .

Pep will turn this round very quickly. He's made a mistake on Bravo but he knows what he is doing.

I'm certain it's a good thing, but f**k me he'll be shattered come May the way this team is playing.

He'll be fine, however if there is a club out there that could psychologically destroy someone, it's Manchester City.

As I say though, he and we will be fine. In two years and 6 months time when we're drinking champagne out of the champions league trophy we'll look back at these threads and laugh.

Looking at that i am 100 percent confident of top 4. I think liverpool, arsenal and united hve rode their luck a lot, and as bad as we have been, we are getting sod all in the way of luck. We have hit rock bottom, but i think our form will return. Bravos arms will start working as well as his feet, vincent will come back and jesus will take the weight off sergio. Kdb hasnt scored since september, so hes due a few. And we have delph back :-)

I think the inconsistency is causing the issues. Beating Barca, Arsenal & Rags and getting hammered by awful teams. Some fans can't hack it :-)
