Fantastic news to start the day!
Is there really much more rebuilding required? Going forward over the next 3 years we have a goalkeeper that’s going nowhere. Finally a CB pairing that looks like it can be our defensive rock for years. Then you have the likes of KDB, Sterling, Foden, Bernardo, Torres, Jesus and Rodri who are all top players either in their prime or approaching it. We have several youth players who are on the cusp of making it into the first team squad. Overall I’d say it’s more of tweaking here and there rather than full rebuilds.i'd imagine he has been given some massive promises about the next couple of transfer windows. Torres, Ake and Dias was a good window. But there is so much more rebuilding to be done,
Yes I watched the highlights of us v Leicester from 3 seasons ago, the speed of our defence into attack and breaking from our own box to the speed ( or lack off ) from last and this season is like chalk and cheese, the difference is glaring, we need to get back to that style of play pronto, we’ve gone from hares to tortoises in that respect.Messi coming for 2 years then...it's stability at least but he needs to get back to where we were 2 years ago, we need a resurgence into a 2nd golden era of Pep not just tootle along miles off the pace for another 2 seasons.
I’d agree. We don’t need a mega rebuild although I’m gonna fucking lose it if we don’t but another left backIs there really much more rebuilding required? You’ve tried to be a killjoy for the last few months regarding Pep so no point in stopping now.I don't know why anyone thinks BBC, Sky or rival fans are arsed about this. Not to be a killjoy but we were well off the pace last season and this season has started off even worse.
He's got a proper task on his hands now but it's nice to have it sorted early and there's nobody in football with a better pedigree than him so here's hoping.
