Pep's contract situation

Managing a club and managing an international team are two entirely different things. At a club, a manager is working with a squad every minute of the day whereas managing an international team he just has to pick up a newspaper and see what the journalists say about their ideas of a squad.
Completely agree. This is how I view it:

Managing a club you have to personally manage every player's life situations. International level is what you can influence for one off occasions.
 
I very much doubt Haaland would have come if he wasn't given some security about Pep.
You'd assume that the agents of these players that have signed for us in the last year or so (NMS, Akanji, Gomez, Phillips) would have been quizzing the club about what the long term future held re the managerial structure at the club.
