Pep's contract situation

My heart goes out to this guy:

It just won't do, says Chris Bascombe of the Daily Telegraph. "The three Premier League broadcasters should give serious consideration to registering a formal complaint to the Premier League and LMA, given how ill-mannered some managers have become.

"They have not paid all that cash to have their employees insulted by those who consider media duties beneath them.

for anyone that wants to give this more views than its worth (i already feel dirty having read it):

They really are deluded:

but critics say managers should remember who bankrolls the league

What do they even mean by that? They have to pay that money to cover the games... to make money, they aren't doing it out of the kindness of their own hearts, nor do they have any authority to tell managers what to do, especially as they constantly bait managers into talking about the ref to get them into trouble, lets address that nonsense first. If they want to play power games we should start banning the little fannywipe journos from attending at all, they've been disrespectful on more than a few occasions, Pep's been blunt but hasn't said anything out of order he doesn't have to kiss up to them nor should they expect it... he can see right through them is their problem.

Pep Guardiola has told friends he sees Manchester City as a long-term project and is eyeing up a stay of at least FIVE YEARS. [Sun]

Sources close to Guardiola say he is loving life in Manchester and loves the 'vibe'. His family are also settling in well. [Sun]

Pep is bringing architects and planners over from Barcelona to “customise” the city-centre apartment he has bought. [Sun]

Who wouldn't love the vibe of every major road being dug up, high levels of homelessness, litter and it pissing down most of the time?
Vamos Pep!!
Just goes to show you don't have to be a Manc to get it.

It's such bullshit. They have the right to an interview from our coaching team, they don't have the right for their stupid questions to be enjoyed, they don't even have the right to speak to Guardiola himself.

Not to mention the whole parasitic lot of them are frothing at the mouth with his curt interviews, blowing it up into column inches and clicks as often as possible.

Who finances the league?

Perhaps the more pertinent question is who's bringing in money for sky? Who's supporting the sports journalism industry?
