Pete is a 77 year old bloke, ex para and old school. He isn't going to be politically correct or say he loved something even if it was bought for him. If he fucking hated every second good on him and it's his right to say so, not pander to what people think he should say. He looked like he had a great time I hope he did.

He told me his knees were fucked after 100 parachute jumps. He still kept up with me walking back into Piccadilly after a game last season though.

It doesn't really matter as what is important is the fact that Pete has had the birthday of all birthdays and I imagine it is one of the best (if not the best) highlights of his City supporting days.

To see his joy in the photos and videos is uplifting. Hopefully someone will do it for me in 8 and a half years when I'm 77 :)
