Max and Paddy’s Road To Nowhere was about as close as he got and even some of those episodes are good.

And he’s always known not when to call it a day with everything. 1-3 series of anything that’s it, time to move on.

No, no, no, wouldn’t work now. Although Kay, Spikey and Fitzmaurice are apparently speaking again, there’s too much baggage I reckon, too much chance of reopening old words.
