Peter Kay tour

Phoenix Nights was excellent but his standup is in the Michael McIntyre bracket. Boring rubbish for people who don’t want to have to think and keep their TV’s tuned to ITV.
 
Phoenix Nights is one of my favourite shows of the last few decades and I always enjoyed his stand-up as funny and light. I was really disappointed when I read his book, at some of the cheapness of the laughs at the expense of others, and the 1970's humour, which I felt was well beneath him and, frankly, a bit offensive.
 
No a chance of getting tickets this morning. Was trying to get them for my mate and his girlfriend who has terminal cancer. Seeing him was on her bucket list of things to do before .... well you know. Why did they let people buy 10 at a time? They're on Viagogo for 200 each already. Pisses me right off that. They should have restricted it to 4 each. If anyone did buy more than they need and want to sell them - obviously not for 200 quid - please PM me.

Think comedy is a tough gig either stay true to what got u noticed or go mainstream.Saw Manford at the bloomsbury when he was just starting out he was very edgy and near the mark nothing like that would be allowed on tv.Jimmy Carr is very funny live but he is 2 different people 1 for tv 1 for Live.Live comedy is best as you have a choice to go which should take away the woke brigade who are offended.Kay would not get away with Phoenix nights today.

Unlucky pal.

I sacked within 2 mins of waiting.More important things to do today.Like
a pint or two before the game.
