Just saying. To all those saying we should use Euro refs for the PL I give you last night's 2 fools. Both clearly rubbish yet 1 is expected to get the final should Spain not get thee.
Comparing the matches in the PL and those played in the Euro 2020 it would seem that there is a quite a noticeable difference in the application of the LotG. How many times have players in the Euros been 'cleaned out' and the ref plays on, whereas in the PL every time some fucker in the South Stand turns a page in the programme an oppo falls down and the refs pointing to the spot - happened three times at that home game v Leicester!Nah we don't need foreign refs , we got jon Moss and a var expert mr Mason.
The two English refs at the Euros are the only two decent refs we have.
You cannot judge refs on individual mistakes or bad matches, they need to be judged on overall performances and the foreign refs at the Euros are the best we have and would be great in the Premier league.
We will stay with the proven , elite refs of pigmol
Well I have seen the Spanish guy at least 6 times in the last 12 months & every time he has been poor yet is seen as the top ref in Europe.Nah we don't need foreign refs , we got jon Moss and a var expert mr Mason.

I think the LOTG are applied correctly in the Euros whereas in the PL they have to ref to the PL's "interpretations".Comparing the matches in the PL and those played in the Euro 2020 it would seem that there is a quite a noticeable difference in the application of the LotG. He probably tried to play for both teams in the same match, whichever one was winning. Can you imagine what this twat was like at school?
Didn’t I see Michael fucking Oliver officiating the other day?Nah we don't need foreign refs , we got jon Moss and a var expert mr Mason.

Or did I just dream it?
If his officiating of our games is anything to go by, Oliver is one of the worst!Who are the referees in the premier league who are better than Oliver and Taylor.

I still haven’t got over his "performance" during the first home game against Spurs a couple of years ago, when he waved away the rugby tackle on Rodri in the penalty area and awarded a foul against Bernardo, after a Spurs player jumped into him.He does seem to like a penalty against City.
I don't want it to sound lime I endorse PL referees.
I am one of those @richardtheref was talking about preferring European referees.

I’m also in favour of using foreign officials in the Premier League. In fact, I’ve been a proponent for a few years now.
I am really not against foreign refs per se reffing in the PL. The point is some people seem to think foreign refs are better they aren't. I have watched quite a bit of French & German football and obviously CL & Thursday night league & can guarantee you for the most part, they are no better or worse than ours.He does seem to like a penalty against City.

I don't know the answer but for a start they need to relegate the 3 worse refs each season & promote the 3 best from the EFL. The PL refs would then not become complacent. PL refs are the only refs in this country who don't have the fear of being demoted. The other problem being the PL appear to be the only league in the world where the refs are given directives to follow which are their own interpretations of the LOTG. The rest just let the refs ref.
Obtuse?Yep, I was there against Spurs.
Even SKY, and the pundits thought it was stonewall.
The excuse at the time was although it was a Rugby tackle Rodri went down at the wrong angle.
Lol
There are 5 or 6 who deserve a chance but under current system will never get that chance. Whilst the likes of Walton & Riley are in senior positions nowt will change.Good points,
The system is producing referees that are not up to standard.
Are the EFL refs any better?

I would say probably the clubs & FA.So now Mason has been promoted to VAR specialist, where will his successor come from.?
Where do you think the pressure should come from to change the system.
