Is that Firmino the striker with less goals than Sterling and less assists than Sterling? Less goals and assists combined than Sané? Than Aguero? There's a few legit reasons that he doesn't deserve a spot tbh...He's amazed Firmino isn't in instead of Aguero who "hasn't had his best season".
He is a glory hunting cockney dipper fan though.

Fern over Erikson for me. Must be frustrating for defensive players as attacking players get all the hype for awards since goals / assists are so important for them.
Except didn't Kante win player of year last year?

When you get nminated for both Player of the Year and also Young Player of the Year but not the team of the year shows what a mockery these awards are. While I'm really happy that Aguero has finally been included I'm really not sure he should be ahead of Sané.
Can't say fairer than that really.
Can understand why the dippers are going mad over no Robertson though.
I would have gone Robertson at Liverpool left back, not seen him have a bad game. Other than that you couldn't argue with it to be honest.
Robertson's actually only made 20 league starts all season, and I'd hazard a guess that only about 12 of those came before the voting had been done, so I can see why he didn't get it.
Alonso is a very lucky boy to get in, even Chelsea fans don't think he deserves it. Would've made more sense to use a back three so that one more midfielder could fit in. I'd have gone Sané over Alonso (in midfield) and Fernandinho over Eriksen.
