PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

If it had been "clear" then VAR would have given it as it would have been a clear and obvious error. But the fact is that it wasn't "clear" as there was sufficient doubt about where the ball had actually hit Rodri and whether it was mostly in the red or green zone.

The laws are the laws, however daft they may be, and on that occasion, as with Ederson at Arsenal and KDB at Southampton, there was doubt so the original decision wasn't changed.
That is absolutely correct.

This was given offside as PGMOL/VAR said you can now score with that part of your arm.

Has to work both ways. Never hand ball...

The system is so skewed / altered / amended / revised to fit any number of circumstances and incidents that occur that it is impossiblt to have any confidence in the accuracy of the decisions made.

Apologising to Everton was fucking ridiculous imo in view of the numbers of fuck ups we regularly witness.

There does appear to be consistency however in the number of dubious decisions which strangely favour another team from the same locality as Everton.

Perhaps Riley could apologise to the teams who suffer from their wrong decisions which help the dippers seemingly at every opportunity ?

Yup, the one they keep showing looks like it is at an angle before the ball even touches him, they fucking no what they are doing in the edit room that's for sure.

Same with the offside pics, let it run on a tiny microsecond and the ball is just off his foot but looks like it is still touching and then a fast striker is another yard down the pitch.

It wasn't handball - I thought it at the time and I still do. The ball spins up off the pitch and brushes his sleeve it's a nothing incident and the fact Everton and the red media were crying just shows how desperate they are. David James set them straight on Sky Sports when he said he'd looked at several replays and it wasn't a penalty. If you've ever played the game at any level you know deep down it isn't a penalty.
