Phil and Jack on the lash?

Shouldn’t that apply to foden and grealish. The place they went probably was a private section of the bar/club, so there probably wasn’t many people with them. It’s all just speculation though.
That’s who I was referring to. We don’t know the details, so we can’t comment on much.

We don’t know how drunk or tired they were the next morning afterwards either.

We all probably know it wasn’t the smartest of decisions in the current climate.

Pep could easily have handled this inhouse but chose to go public. Winning run in prem and biggest lead of season and he’s obviously worried about a little complacency. Relatively harmless way to remind everyone not to lose focus before we start the hardest part of the season. Keep your eye on the ball or get called out publicly.

This. Still made the bench, and werent fined. Sounds like they just turned up a little worse for wear, rather than late or broke protocol.

Said before Grealish needs to be careful with Pep.

He is a very talented player with the ability to get to the very top, but to do so, he needs 100% dedication on and off the field.

The great players have to sacrifice a lot to become great.

Foden is another that neds to be careful , amazing talent but he like Grealish have to wind in the social life or be far more discrete.

Leaked out? Pep more or less spelt it out.
It's called great management.

The old piss can over the road was brilliant at it, he knew exactly where and when his players were on a night out and what they were up to.

Pep won't expect them to like like monks but dedication is a necessity to a guy like him.

@Moderating Team I think this thread should be pulled lads.

Pep has played it down as well as can be and the club will probably punish them accordingly.

I don't want to be reading about what our players get up to in the gossip columns and social media, even though they've broken club rules. They have a private life which should be kept as private as possible.

Threads like this are a magnet for journos wanting a story so they come on fan forums to glean 'information', that's if it's correct information, often two and two equal 5 in in sensationalising what is basically a mountain out of a molehill.
