Only makes sense if he's almost guaranteed 15-20 starts.
If we sign Mahrez/Jorginho, there's even less likelihood of Foden and Diaz getting game time. That said, Pellegrini showed little inclination to blood youth (Chelsea in the Cup aside) in his tenure with us, so he might never use Foden.

I am optimistic about Phil's chances of making it here, but declaring any player will be at City until they're 33 "minimum" after amassing 43 minutes of premier league football is farcical.

If Pellegrini was threatened with a painful death if he didn't play him. Otherwise it would be a huge risk letting him go there.

No way,he stays here with the first team,he is learning from the best players and the best manager,he doesn't need to scrap it away at the bottom of the table with clogger team mates

Yep, they didn't get a sniff. Even with sh*t FB's our defenders couldn't get on the field for 2 minutes.
Keep Foden well clear.

Foden should stay around the first team and not go out on loan as he will amass many more than the 43 minutes game time this season.
Btw 43 mins in this team as a 17 year old is incredible. At his age he will learn much more knocking about with Silva and De Bruyne than at any other team.
