Phil Foden - 2018/19 Performances

I think Pep just about covered it last night when he said Foden is ready and is now competing with the Silvas, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Fernandinho for a place in the team. Just think about that, he is 18yrs of age. Does anyone for one minute think he would be allowed to leave Manchester City? Pep knows what he has, the club know what he has, and so does Gareth Southgate.

If he is treated right as he has been for another year or two he will instigate League titles, CL wins, and World cups, the latter of course is already old hat to him.

Basically what i said laat summer,and got laughed at for saying so,lol.

A couple of days ago,posters on here were saying he ,s only a kid,not big enough or strong enough yet,blah blah.

Great performance except for a small slip near the end. What struck me most was that he looked well up to it physically which has been a fear of some.
His vision as always excellent he seems to be either looking around him or looking for the ball constantly and we also saw a couple of his trademark runs a kind of mini Yaya. Not only is he not going on loan anywhere but I expect to see him starting regularly in big games next season.
 
Makes me laugh that when England do poorly it's because there are to many non English players at the top level . It seems Foden and me see it differently and that playing day in day out with top top players is improving him.....but than again phil is only 18 and me 58 so we know nothing !

The ex pros who have never managed know better than pep and phil !!
