Pissed off I didn’t make the effort tonight. Think he’s going to be a very good player, possibly more.No kid in world football is gettin the education this lad is. Felt great to be there and see him get his goal, I hope it’s one of those “I was there” moments. Great performance from him today, wonderful assist and well taken goal.
Every word.Spot on.When he scored his goal ran towards our supporters and kissed the badge you knew it was genuine a blue through and through been at the club since he was seven and it was the highlight of the season so far , i know its only Oxford but the lad ran the game in the 2nd half , not sure who he comes into the team for but he needs to be unleashed on the Premier league. Dislike putting pressure on young players but never felt about a home grown player since Paul Lake , i just hope Phil avoids serious injury and reaches his potential , Lake would have captained England given the chance and it was one of the saddest things i have witnessed watching him break down on his come back , Phil making it to the top in a blue shirt would be some sort of recompense.
Is he old enough for them to have dropped yet ? ;)I wonder if he laughed his bollocks off when he heard about the rags?
