I'm not surprised at the Mirror shit stirring where we are concerned,but given the awful events of yesterday i thought even they would have a day off.......


Juventus are making a 'big play' to sign Phil Foden from Manchester City. Contract talks between City and Foden are expected to start soon with Juventus ready to pounce if given encouragement. [Mirror]

Maybe Sancho would have been tempted to play in Turin but I can't see Foden being tempted at all. The lad is a blue through and through. I bet he wouldn't go if Juve doubled his money and offered him a guaranteed start in games. Sometimes the badge is more important than the bank balance.

Hes a deserved member of the first team squad in one of the best teams in Europe,playing under the best manager on the planet and alongside the best midfielders in the world......and you think it would be better to go on loan??

He's nearly played the same amount of minutes this season as he did all last year. Already. He's visibly getting better too. Loaning him out would be madness when he's obviously gonna get considerably more minutes throughout the rest of the season.

I would be absolutely amazed if Foden ever went on loan. Pep has made it clear he's got no intent to do so, and as long as he's making forward progress in terms of game time + performance there's no reason to even think about it.
 
Just read on the BBC gossip page he is out of contract in the summer, is that true? If so, any news on a new contract for him?
