...apparently its the club's fault...for not being serial cheats across a variety of sports presumably...

So true. I believe it comes from the human rights abusers that own the club. Because of their money they believe that are above other people and can do whatever they please, which they did with the ffp CAS farce. The players clearly feel the same way.
Oh dear!

Get a grip

My reply was to yet another poster saying about people on here when they were 20yo making mistakes, it just isn't comparable, that is the point.

So I have no need to get a grip of anything, but if you don't like the replies maybe you should frequent another part of the forum for a day or two, you don't need to be the defender of Phil's lost virtue, though you seem be making a valiant effort.

Could have been worse.
Anyone remember the rape accusation thrown at Mark Wright and Steve Moran whilst on tour with England U21s ?
And Bobby Moore and the alleged jewellery trousering ...

I was banned from the University Library when a student for a double offence. I snuck the Saw Doctors into the library when they were doing a gig at the Uni and they caused chaos. We had swipe cards and that recorded who had got them in..... Warning 1. Sadly the second offence involved alcohol, a girl and a private study booth. I didn't know anyone was about........3 month ban and final warning! It caused a real problem as some of the fucking books I needed for parts of my course couldn't be taken out of the library and I couldn't get in. These things can cause you real problems ;-)

Must be the reason you never got an England call up then :)

There is a lot of argument on here about how serious this was, which mirrors the entire Covid debate to some extent.
But the real loser here will be Foden himself. The entire aim in international football is to get to the tournaments, euros and world cups. That normally involves weeks and weeks away in hotels. He has demonstrated to England that he is not yet mature enough for that environment and there is not a chance of him going to the euros now as a result. That is a great shame for him, hopefully city will benefit as he strives for redemption in the future.
Pound to a penny he still goes to the Euros.
