Really can’t agree with your point mate. You clearly put football players on some Sort of weird pedestal & believe they are or should be better than the rest of us. They aren’t.

We’re all humans with the same (or similar) physicality’s, feelings & emotions, so I can’t see how it isn’t comparable.

Not sure how a professional shelf stacker is any different to a 20 year old professional footballer?

He’s Done something stupid, been caught, apologised & been punished. What more do you want him to do?

I hope that proves to be the case. Foden rightly so is the poster boy for our huge academy investment and until this week he hadn’t put a foot wrong. I can forgive a 20 year old being a bit of a dick, I was, but sadly for Phil he has hugely embarrassed Southgate and the FA and I don’t see that being easily forgiven.

I don’t need to get a grip pal, I am entitled to an opinion. The big difference with the players you quote is that when they cocked up they were already established internationals. And they didn’t have the Covid factor. Personally I don’t give a flying one about England, but I think it is a shame for Foden because he will be judged on this for years to come.

And rightly so he should be judged on this....he was wrong.

I’ve seen the slagging off, the defending of the lad, and everything between here.

I haven’t looked or searched for the facts or details or any investigation. Only question I have is, how in the hell have they (camp, security, whatever you want to call them) allowed variables outside of the bubble to get that close?

My reply was to yet another poster saying about people on here when they were 20yo making mistakes, it just isn't comparable, that is the point.

So I have no need to get a grip of anything, but if you don't like the replies maybe you should frequent another part of the forum for a day or two, you don't need to be the defender of Phil's lost virtue, though you seem be making a valiant effort.
