There is a lot of argument on here about how serious this was, which mirrors the entire Covid debate to some extent.
But the real loser here will be Foden himself. The entire aim in international football is to get to the tournaments, euros and world cups. That normally involves weeks and weeks away in hotels. He has demonstrated to England that he is not yet mature enough for that environment and there is not a chance of him going to the euros now as a result. That is a great shame for him, hopefully city will benefit as he strives for redemption in the future.

But the point is anybody with half a peanut for a brain must understand that sneaking birds into your hotel when on international duty for your country is not going to go down well, it isn't really excusable or easy to brush aside as lads will be lads or their only 20, bless them, they are meant to be professional footballers playing for their country.

I don’t need to get a grip pal, I am entitled to an opinion. The big difference with the players you quote is that when they cocked up they were already established internationals. And they didn’t have the Covid factor. Personally I don’t give a flying one about England, but I think it is a shame for Foden because he will be judged on this for years to come.Not that I give a shit about England, but I'm pretty sure

Really can’t agree with your point mate. You clearly put football players on some Sort of weird pedestal & believe they are or should be better than the rest of us.
